Founded in 2017 by mother-daughter duo Mary Jane Hofstede and Angela Hill, Stride Design Collective has transformed the purchasing experience for design trade professionals.

What began over 25 years ago as a custom drapery business in Mary Jane’s home has grown into a 4,000-square-foot showroom, proudly serving more than 300 designers and trade professionals across Canada..

With over 25 years of experience in drapery, Mary Jane is an invaluable resource on everything related to fabrics. She provides guidance in selecting materials, considering everything from fabric material to drape, to ensure excellent results every time.
Showroom Team

Our Showroom Team brings a combination of both technical expertise and an eye for design. They are able to optimize processes, while maintaining attention to detail to provide the best support. The team can provide solutions for design complexities and also curate cohesive palettes to help achieve a polished look.
Workroom Team

Our Custom Drapery Workroom is run by a team of highly skilled seamstresses who possess a deep understanding of fabric, design, and stitching techniques. They combine creativity with precision, allowing them to transform materials into beautifully crafted draperies.
Installation Team

Our installation team takes a meticulous approach from concept to installation. From taking precise measurements to coordinating the finished product, they ensure each drapery project is completed to perfection.

Our complimentary membership is open to all design trade professionals, including interior designers, architects, and more. If you’re uncertain if you meet the qualifications, simply complete our membership form and we will review your application to confirm.
As we custom order pieces for our members, we keep very limited inventory in stock in our showroom. With our extensive number of wholesale suppliers to order from, you will find the perfect furnishings to complete your projects.
Our experienced team of drapery workroom experts can assist with everything from a few custom throw pillows to extensive drapery orders.
Yes, of course. You may drop in any time during business hours, Monday to Friday 10 am- 4 pm. For larger projects or booking a consultation room outside of our business hours, please make an appointment by calling us at (226) 336-7707.
